If a start gear is selected, the auto-downshift function will automatically be activated. If no start gear is selected, the function is automatically deactivated.
Activating the Start Gear / Auto-downshift function
Switch Bosch eBike System “on”.
Scroll through the Menu using the "< >" buttons of the Remote Control Unit, until you reach the "Set-up" option.
Choose option using the Select button.
Scroll through the next Menu using the "+ / -" buttons until you reach the "My eBike" option.
Choose option using the Select button.
Scroll through the next Menu using the "+ / -" buttons until you reach the "eShift" option.
Choose option using the Select button.
The Auto-downshift function is currently inactive.
Activate the option by pushing the Select button.
The Auto-downshift function is now active. Gear number 9 has currently been selected as the start-gear.
Use the "+ / -" butons to select the "Set-up" option.
Enter set-up by pushing the Select button.
Use the "+ / -" buttons to select a desired start-gear between 1 and 9
Confirm selection by pressing the Select button.
De-activating the Start Gear / Auto-downshift function
