If a start gear is selected, the auto-downshift function will automatically be activated. If no start gear is selected, the function is automatically deactivated.
Activating the Start Gear / Auto-downshift function
Switch Bosch eBike System “on”.
Press and hold both the “Reset“ button and “i“ button simultaneously…
…until the text “Settings“ appears in the display window.
Press the “i“ button on the Bosch display Taste as often as needed…
…to scroll through options until “Start Gear“ appears in the Bosch display window.
The “+“ or “-“ Bosch eBike control buttons can now be used to scroll up or down respectively, to select the desired start gear.
Once selected, save the selected gear as your personal start gear by pressing and holding the “Reset” button on the Bosch display for approximately 3 seconds.
