A new chain tensioner (Art. #8250-10) will be available alongside the regular chain tensioner

(Art.#8250). This chain tensioner will be required for use with:

Rohloff SPEEDHUBs mounted in frames equipped with Shimano’s new direct-mount derailleur hanger (such applications will require the hanger bed-stop to [see arrow] to be re-positioned to the second locating hole. Chain tensioners are all shipped with this hanger bed-stop located in the first mounting hole.

Rohloff-SPEEDHUB 148mm / XXL (190 & 197mm) versions

Rohloff chain tensioners are only suitable for 1/2" x 3/32" and 1/2" x 11/128" chains.
