The Rohloff E-14 2.0 App can be used to update the Rohloff E-14 2.0 Shifter Unit firmware, as well as to read and share the error cache. In addition to this, further features can be accessed and individual set-up selections can be made via the App.

Auto-Downshift Set-up
The Auto-Downshift function can, under "Auto-Downshift Settings", be deactivated, or the start-gear selected for your individual terrain (available start-gears = 4-9).
When active, the E-14 system will automatically shift down into the selected start-gear, as long as one was travelling at least 5kmh before coming to a halt.

Should the E-14 shifting mechanism fail to shift correctly (e.g. should you be hindered form selecting all 14 gears - note: shifting issues are not identical to drive loss), then this function can be selected to check that the E-14 shifting mechanism is correctly synchronised and calibrated with the mechanical SPEEDHUB gear-unit.
The auto-calibration process can be sellected by clicking on the "Auto-Calibration" option.
