Despite of the on mostly parts dry race track, there was enough moistre left in the dark woods, which demanded a higher awareness of the riders. At some parts the organiser even recommended to push or to carry the bike, which was ignored by some riders though. After 55 km Ralf Kropp of Rohloff-Endorfin started his rigorous attack and definitely won the race with 12 min. ahead of Werner Baur of the IBC DIMB RacingTeam.
