André Hauschke reports live on the strains of the Cape Epic.

One year has passed without pushing one single metre since André Hauschke made it from zero to an altitude of 6,000m in South America. With this challenge he set a new altitude cycling world record. He was now off again on another extreme challenge together with his new team partner Gisela Gartmaier (winner of last years 'Tour d'Afrique' race from Cairo to Cape Town). This time the challenge was what is now known as 'The hardest MTB race in the world' - The Cape Epic in South Africa.
