At the weekend around June 17th the 1st UCI World Cup together with the Cross Country World Cup took place in Spa Francorchamps/Belgium. Unfortunately, the  cheering atmosphere was drained in continuous rain. Nonetheless, many spectators came to watch and to cheer the Trial- and CC-Riders.

On Saturday the qualification started. Stefan as 11th of the world best riders had to qualify for the semi-final, which only "Top Ten" riders could participate in. He easily made it. Marc, only 15 years old, rode his first World Cup to gain experience and has a formidable practice. He increased his efforts from lap to lap and gained in the end place 23 of the world best riders.

In the afternoon the Women's World Cup started a new season. Ann Christin couldn't practice in the trail discipline and had some trouble to make her drivers licence. Nevertheless, she was able to give a good performance, which was rewarded with a 3rd place behind Karin Moor/Swiss and Julie Pesenti/France.

On Sunday in the semi-final the race tracks were even harder to ride due to continuous rain. Neither Felix, Stefan or Wilko had a successful day. Only Felix could increase his efforts from lap two of three and showed some nice actions. Eventually, all three bikers of the Team finished with the pack, which is okay for such an early period of the season, while our practice schedule is clearly made up to participate in the World Championship in New Zealand and the European Championship in Cologne/Germany.
