The weekend before we were together Felix, Marco, Wilko, Marc and me at the semi final World Cup race of this season in Buthier, the French Trial-Mekka. In the quarter final on Friday it was necessary for Marc to qualify himself for the semi final together with the 20 best riders of the world. The sections were quite hard for a quarter final, but Marc came in 12th place of the qualification, because Marco Hösel and Benito Ros from the Top Ten were not starting. Marco Thomä, our World champion made it an easy going 5th place.

In the semi final on Sunday morning, finally our Top Ten riders Wilko and Felix came in the game. Wilko was handicapped due to a cold and, therefore, could not reach the final of the best 8 riders, same as with Marco and Marc. Felix increased his efforts enormously in the 3rd lap, which secured his entrance into the final. The sections in the final were extremely hard, and Felix had to engage all his talent and ability to overcome the one or other section. In the final he increased his efforts once again, and thus, he showed his best performance of this season. He came in 6th place of the world elite and laid back only 5 points behind place 3 and 2 points behind the Spanish Vice-World champion Charles Diaz.
