Tanja Ruppert still on the winner's course

In Pracht/Westerwald (Rheinland Pfalz) it went on with the 3rd Tune-FRM-Cup.

The riders had to cope with a very demanding round track with a length of 4 km and 261 meters in height including small single trails and root passages.

Tanja Ruppert (RSC Niedenstein) Team womenscareer (FRM-Rohloff) took the lead right after the first round and was followed by her team partners Birgit Jüngst (SC Willingen) and Silke Schmidt Team SRSUNTER/Fuji-Bikes.

At high temperatures of 36°C both female and male riders had to pass the round track four times what brought some of them to their limit.

Tanja Ruppert left no doubt on her rinding abilities, when she came as winner to the finishing line after 48:34 min. Second place went to Silke Schmidt after 53:00 min.

Birgit Jüngst wasn't quite able to hold on to the currently high speed and came in after a time of 53:43 min. to gain a formidable third place. Due to her today's win Tanja Ruppert could build up her lead in the total judgement.
