Tanja Ruppert fourth best German

Offenburg/Rammersweier April 9th 2006

In Offenburg near to Rammersweier (Germany) a world-class MTB race took place which has for the first time also been counted as a German 1st league race.

 

 

The circeling track of 5,1 km length and 250 m hight is the most demanding race track in Germany with 4  technical downhill rides which went down nearly vertical and uphill rides which were supplied with single trails and went over several root passages, riders male and female had to go to their limits.



After two starting rounds of 1,1 km the female riders from all over the world had to overcome additional 5 rounds of this demanding race track.

 

Tanja Ruppert (RSC-Niedenstein) of the FRM-Rohloff Team has shown she is still capable with her 38 years.



After 1:33.49 h the Russian rider Irina Kalentieva came in first followed by the German riders Ivonn Kraft second place (1:34.32 h), Adelheid Morath third (1:34.48 h), Hanna Klein eighth (1:42.30 h)

and fourth best German Tanja Ruppert could finish her race with a 13th place (1:45.42 h).
