Rohloff AG takes part in the competition "Biene-Award"

Temporarily, with the help of the company "24ix Systems" the Rohloff website is altered to an open-source content-management system (Typo3). Here attention has been given to a standard barrier-free implement of the website after BITV 1/2 and WAI AA(A) .

As the site is still under construction you can look up the beforehand version under www.rohloffnet.de . With this site the Rohloff AG takes part in the competition "Biene-Award".  With this competition websites are judged by their amount of barrier-freedom. It means the websites should be programmed W3C conform and the use of various displays for the handicapped should be optimised.

In every version since 1996 we have always tried to make our site to be display independently from browser and operating systems. Our aim has ever been we wouldn't like to dictate our customers which operating system or browser they should have installed to get in contact with us via the web.

Too, inside our new website we have integrated display-modes which are especially made for mobile phones and pda-displays, so you're able to look up the website from anywhere out. Or you maybe use the laptop for the blind Braillex Elba . The world is full of possibilities and with our new modified site we want to do justice to this circumstance!

We will see to that our website will be accessed again under  http://www.rohloff.de/ at the end of August. Until then, there are many links and texts new to set.
