The marathon MTB-Race on 04.07.2010 in Neuhaus am Solling was effected by hot weather and dust.
Ralf Kropp, who started with the long distance, could win through in a superior way in the seniors class and came second place in the overall standings.

Due to the long draught period the course was easy to manage. Though, there was high attention to be made with the downhills, as the raised dust covered the sight of roots and stones.

From the beginning Ralf Kropp clang to the leading group, but had to give way to the later winner Danny Götze of Nordharzer Racingteam.

In the second lap Ralf Kropp lacked a minute to win in total. In his age group he, nevertheless, won with 23 minutes ahead of Bernd Vockenroth from RC-Endspurt Herford.
After the race „Altenau im Harz“ this was already the second win for Ralf Kropp this year.
