Despite a flat tyre Patrick Uhlig from Freiburg gained a top-ten place in the elite class. Being successful in a German Masters race for the third time (seventh in the juniors class 2001 and 2005 place eight in the U23 class) he rode in the German Cross Country Masters a fabulous race last Sunday.

`I'm very satisfied with my performance, cause I've reached my aim to gain a placement under the top-ten. Without the wheel change I could have made a ninth place, but the danger of falling back more behind was even greater,` declares the 23 years old after the finish.

Taking part only for three times Patrick pushed himself in the German Cup total on place 13 due to the latest formidable GM result.
