Information to "The Great Journey" Trans-East-Expedition. Interruption!!!

A report by Denis Katzer

After a fantastically succesful start of our Trans-East-Expedition Part II, your're probably wondering why there were no more updates published for quite a while now.

Well, after nearly twenty years and some successful expeditions we have suddenly been hit by a severe incident. We were struck by an unspectacular, but serious and extremely painful accident after having cycled no more than 400 meters on the continuation of our expedition. The result was a split spinal disc, the splinters merged with the back nerve. As a consequence, I was paralysed for 11 days. Tanja and I  feared and struggled with fate. I had to undergo a surgery in Bucharest. The operation turned out to be a hundred percent successful according to the meds. I felt as if Mother Earth or All-There-Might-Be had given me a new life.

Once I am completely recuperated, we will resume our Trans-East-Expedition Part II. We are of the opinion that there are no coincidences in life, and that all that happens  make sense, even if we're not able or not willing to understand it straight away. ;aybe pme day we will find out the significance of this accident, too. We have not long ago retuned home, and since July 25, 2006 I am in rehab in a clinic in  Herzogenaurach (Germany).

A detailed report including the happenings of the past weeks will be published on our web site in short:
