"Ice Fever DVD" On bike and kayak around the Polar Circle!

Now the travel tour is available as 96min. DVD in 16:9 format.

For nearly two years Elena and Oliver traveled on their bikes (Rotor trekking bikes with SPEEDHUB 500/14) and kayaks around the northern Polar Circle. They covered a distance of 33.000km and followed the track of Georg Wilhelm Steller (1709-1749), who discovered Alaska together with Vitus Bering.

The mainly difficult travel-route led them from Poland over White Russia to St. Petersburg. From there it went over Moscow to the Ural Mountains and further to the endless vastness of Siberia - passing Lake Baikal until they reached Kamchatka. With high sea kayaks they paddled to the Polar sea. Their aim, to cross the Bering Street, was hindered by the authorities.

Nevertheless, they reached somehow North America and continued their bike travel in the sense of Steller. How they managed everything and furthermore Alaska and the Yukon at 60 degrees minus, the travel across Canada to Newfoundland over Iceland, Scotland to England and finally to European ground, back where they have started their tour, can be viewed on their new DVD.
