Tanja Ruppert (RSC-Niedenstein) Team womenscareer (FRM/Rohloff and Bicycle Shop Gudensberg/Vital Inn), who was absent during last weeks race, has shown despite a longer abstinence that she still is in top conditions. On the dry course of 4 km with  fast downhills and hard root passages the women were competing in a thrilling race.

Tanja Ruppert, her team comrades Birgit Jüngst and Silke Schmidt were close together in the first laps. In the very first of five laps Tanja Ruppert set a high speed pace while from the second to fourth lap Birgit Jüngst took the lead. Only after that Tanja Ruppert came in the race with force, showed the others her back wheel in the fifth lap and rode on, leaving a great gap between her and her followers.

The mother of two children came in as winner with a 45 sec. lead and could celebrate at the same time her total win of the Tune-FRM-Cup.
