In Saalhausen/Germany the final run, a 4,2 km round track packed with very demanding downhill slopes and running passages had to be made 5 times at high temperatures of 32°C.

Tanja Ruppert from womenscareer Team (FRM-Rohloff and Vital Inn bike shop, Gudensberg) set the pace immediately and gained from lap to lap a formidable lead of approx. 3 minutes. After 1:06:37 h the 38 years old winner could let herself celebrate. Sandra Gockert of Stevens MTB Team came 2nd with 1:09:51 h.

Tanja Ruppert could be glad about her 1st place in the total valuation with three wins and 3.000 points. Sandra Gockert took with 2.782 points2nd place.
