Results of the Int. Competition in Troyes/France
On Saturday 3rd June 2006 an international competition took place in the French town of Troyes (near Paris).
There 9 bikers were invited to show their competence in the middle of the city centre of Troyes.
Since the 26" trial bike is predominant in France, I had to assert myself, riding as the only one a 20" trial bike, against the world elite of mountain bikers (26").
Here the results:
- Giacomo Coustelliere 26" FR 12 penalty points
- Vincent Hermance 26" FR 15 penalty points
- Marc Vinco 26" FR 18 penalty points
- Marco Hösel 20" GER 18 penalty points
Because the 3rd placed Marc Vinco had one naught section more, I missed out the podium narrowly!
It was a competition at the highest stage, and for hundreds of spectators the town of Troyes was a huge event!
Preview:
On 17th June 2006 the 2nd rund to the UCI World Cup takes place in Graz.
Proceeding on 24th June 2006 in Brive/France one more international race will take place.
