MTB-Marathon at the Schwarzwald-Täler Cup

Patrick Uhlig now gets going after a knee injury in Spring time ...

The week before he won the MTB-Marathon at the Schwarzwald-Taelercup in Langenbrand/Germany despite strong followers like Golderer, Kaufmann, Kubis.


On Thursday at the Criteria in Singen/Germany after Patrick had overtaken twice the field with the leading group, gaining 7th place with a 45kmh average speed, this good result was followed on Friday by the temporary highlight at the farewell race of Olympia-winner Michael Rich (Gerolsteiner) in Reute/Germany.


Five laps before finish Patrick set himself up in front of the field with three other Pro-Tour professionals. At the finishing sprint he got in third shortly behind Jens Voigt (CSC) and Ralf Grabsch (Milram). After that the best 10 riders rode a Derny-Race.
