In Altenau the Harz MTB-Event, which is also a part of the Harz MTB Cup, took place for the 11th time. It is, therefore, the biggest MTB Event in the Harz Region and offers over two days a great number of different races. Highlight is the MTB Marathon on Sunday, where the 38 km long race track through the Harz landscape is to be run once, twice or three times. Michael decided to take the short and Ralf Kropp took the middle sized distance. Both rode a top race and could shine in their age groups. Michael won with the seniors and took 3rd place in the overa standings. Ralf Kropp won in a souvereign way in the middle distance.
