At the bike marathon once more there were many SPEEDHUBIANS of the Rohloff Party on tour on the variety of different tracks. A glamour point Matthias (Matze) Mende set one more time with his win of the 53km race track with the men. He made a winning time of 01:49:20, and in the end he was half a minute ahead.

At the for the first time short track, lovingly named "Shorty", the Rohloff Product Manager Carsten Geck could make a good race, but he turned, being ahead, around a corner and was victim of a non-existing track securing line and rode due to this fault too many unnecessary km. In spite of this enormous side way a 3rd place in the Master's category was at hand for him. But the time was spent .... :-(
