Even though, Daniela Bargholt has actually specialized on MTB races, last weekend she took the opportunity have a go at competing in a Duathlon. At first there was a 5km run, then 25km cycling after which another 5km run was required. The closely run event unfortunately did not bring a win as Daniela was forced to give way to the local favorite Claudia Fusaro and second place Monika Weihs in the very last round. Even so we are extremely delighted with her podium finish and thank her for her efforts.
