ROBOHORSE TV

Robohorse TV...who or what exactly is Robohorse TV?

Robohorse TV is the joint venture of Pia Leong and Jimmy Purtill. They are both keen bicycle touring cyclists and film-makers, who use their bikes as tools to bring them to the remote regions they wish to film, in search of interesting experiences, people and places to capture in their films.

In 2012 Jimmy decided it was time to do something exciting and meaningful. He planned to cycle all the way from Germany to India, maintaining a Video-Blog of his experiences and exploits, with the intention of showing people in real time, that the world is a safe place, inhabited by friendly people.

This expedition was the birth of Robohorse TV.

Jimmy actually overshot India, ending up in Japan, but managed nonetheless managed to get his intended message across. The numerous faces Jimmy met along the way that showed their hospitality, letting him stay overnight, were well documented and shown in a series of short films which can be found on their website in the “TV” section.

Jimmy returned to Europe to reunite with his partner Pia, who was already busy planning their next expedition. This time, they were to travel 6 months through the South American continent taking in Peru, Argentina, Chile and Bolivia. Follow their tour and relive their experiences via their various online platforms below.
