Auto-calibration

The auto-calibration feature can be used, should any operational issues arise while using the Rohloff E-14 system (e.g. inability to shift one or more gears). This feature reminds the software where the end positions are located so it can calculate its current position, thus ensuring the Rohloff E-14 system is still able to shift through the entire 526% range.

Important

The calibration process is not usually necessary, as both the Rohloff E-14, electronic shifter unit and Rohloff SPEEDHUB 500/14 are synchronized in the factory prior to shipping.

Calibration Process

The calibration proces can be selected in the Panasonic FIT display menu under the heading 'Calibration', then 'E-14'. The auto-calibration process will start once you click 'OK'.
