With good weather conditions on the about 2.200m long round track and 180 height meters on the castle ground the first MTB Hesse Cup took place in Naumburg, Germany.

And once again with the women Tanja Ruppert (Team Rohloff-Fahrradladen Gudensberg) of Rot-Weiß-Ermetheis won the Local Master title. During the race, nevertheless, she had to give room for Sandra Gockert of Harvestehunder RV, Hamburg. In the hobby senior class Michael Opper (Team Rohloff) gained 3rd place.
A Northhesse double win the girls gained at the U11, where Anna Ruppert won before Carolin Erdmann. Therefore, Anna gained the title Local Master in her class as well.
