Just in time for EUROBIKE 2025, Rohloff and Bosch present a major upgrade for the electronic shifting system E-14 2.0:
New automatic functions make the interaction with the Bosch Smart System even smarter and more intuitive – for a distraction-free riding experience in every situation.

These new features offer riders more comfort, control, and customization. Three clearly defined shifting functions are available:

A – Automatic-Function

If you want a more relaxed ride, you can let eShift shift gears for you. Just set your desired cadence in the eBike Flow app or your connected display. If the gear selected isn't ideal, you can shift gears yourself at any time and temporarily override the automatic shifting to suit your riding situation.

M+ – Automatik-Funktion nur beim Rollen

M+ adds an additional automatic feature to eShift when shifting gears manually. When coasting, the eBike shifts gears automatically for you to match your per-determined cadence. While pedaling, you shift gears yourself as usual – ideal for trail use!

M – Manuell

Focus on the trail, shift at the touch of a button: The motor reduces the assistance briefly and the gear is engaged. If you press and hold the lever, eShift with Rohloff E-14 2.0 quickly shifts several gears in succession (Multi-shift). You can also shift while coasting – ideal for restarting after a downhill section, after coming to a stop.

Switching between the 3 Bosch functions:

• With Rohloff switch unit (8801): press the "M" button
• With Rohloff trigger (8801-04): press both levers (thumb + index finger) simultaneously
• With TRP Hywire shifters: press both shift buttons at the same time
