With a Tour-de-France feeling and thousends of waving hands of the spectators the starting signal fell at 9.00 a.m. in the mountain bike Mekka Frammersbach. The Saxonian Master Team came in the leading group. The mixed tandem team Matthias Mende and Katja Beer had to defend their leading shirt riding 100m behind the others. A downhill surprise attack followed which was crucial for the end of the race.

Resulting in a 10km ride out of the saddle until the finishing line :) , thick limbs, but the leading shirt defended, lead extended!

TMGS-Team with Robert Novotny and Milan Spolc could extend their lead in the masters class with the 10th stage win in a row. With a little distance the Saxonian Express I and II came in with mission fulfilled: „Chase for starting block A“. No comment from Bastl, Martini, Christian and Albi who went straight to bed...

Tomorrow the 3rd stage is on the schedule in Oberhof. Aim is to get there and leave everything as it is. Suiting weather is coming.
