Is it possible to mount the Rohloff SPEEDHUB 500/14 in a combination with a full-floating axle?

The Rohloff SPEEDHUB 500/14 is exclusively designed for rear frame dropouts with width of 135mm which accept 10mm diameter axles. We offer both a TS threaded axle version (M10x1) and a CC hollow Q/R version. The hubs cannot be used in combination with a full floating axle or frame widths other than 135mm.

 

The reason for this is simple: The hub is built up completely around the axle. Any changes to this axle would involve a complete redesign which simply isn't realistic for such a small market sector.
