Rohloff developed the Revolver 2 to eliminate common chain assembling problems such as damaging link plates and insufficient pin press. The tool allows the user to easily and precisely assemble a chain by actually clamping the chain in place while it is being worked on. Once the pin is fully inserted, an extra 1/2 turn of the lever actually rivets the end
of the pin for a factory strong connection! It is impossible to insert the pin too far.
