Sprocket wear indicator for HG cassettes
Rohloff developed the HG-Check tool to enable a quick and easy determination of Shimano HG cassette condition. The tool will indicate when the individual sprockets are on the verge of needing replacement, thus preventing chain skipping. Cassette teeth should be checked before long tours and also when replacing a chain in order to determine if the new chain will be compatible with the old cassette.
