Tanja Ruppert And Michael Opper At The TransAlp: "One Time On The Podium - In The End Would Be Best!"

On Saturday July 18th, 2009 the world's hardest MTB race started Mittenwald: 550 Duo-Teams (100 mixed couples) were on the start to reach Riva del Garda after 8 stages, 633 km and 22,000 m height on July 25th.
After the race "Hessenturmkönig" in Niedenstein the weekend before, where Tanja Ruppert and Michael Opper had their warm up (Tanja as convincing winner with the women and Michael gaining 3rd place in total), it was necessary to concentrate completely on the TransAlp 2009.
