Rohloff Cup Awards Ceremony

Invited by sponsor Rohloff AG and the organized cycling club from Kassel and surrounding areas, cycling athletes met in the rooms of the Rohloff-AG at the award ceremony. After  22 stages on the race track at Hertingshausen the club honored all successful riders of the Rohloff-Cup. Approximately 80 riders took part at the criteria on the flat 1km long round course. The Rohloff-Cup has turned out to be an important attraction for the regional bicycle sports. In addition there came many guest riders from Göttingen, Duderstadt, even from Berlin, too. “With the national invitation to tender we have met the point. Whenever both blocks of Kassel (ZG and RV 99) brought in to much tactics into the races the stronger athletes from out of town led back to an open race.“, club member Bernd acknowledged.
