Altenberg
The Altenberg community lies in the Eastern part of the Erz Mountains Osterzgebirge, of which the Bald Head Mountain Kahleberg is the highest point with 905m above sea level. You can explore the area with bike or feet on uncountable and many kilometers long cycle tracks. Many sports and leasure time facilities will give your vacacions a large amount of variety. Next to the classic sports like descent, ski touring and bobsliding you can experience much more in the ski area of Altenberg!
Who wants to be active on his own over 75km loipes and ski cross-country tracks as well as 7 ski lifts are at the disposal. Ready to emulate our compatitive athletes?! No Problem - may it be the guests Biathlon-Event or at the racy slide in one of the guest's bobsleighs along the Luge & Bobsledrun.
Zinnnwald
With its 800 - 900m above sea level Zinnwald-Georgenfeld is one of the highest communities of the Erz Mountains' crest. You are welcomed by its citizens and the beautiful environment due to the exposed position on the mountain crest. Discover and explore Zinnwald-Georgenfeld in the Erz Mountains and experience the fascinating beauty of our home land. In Summer or Winter time, it does not matter, Zinnwald is worth travelling at any time of the year. The webcam is located at the Activcamp-Beer.
